At Magic-Info.Org you will find a list of magical places. From magicians, through dealers and conventions to miscellaneous other magical places.

Please note that this site grows through the help of our users (that means you). If you know some magical places (either your own or others), please register and add to our list.

How to use the site

Using Magic-Info.Org is very easy. Our home page shows all of our magical places grouped by category and listed alphabetically.

If you find a magical place in our list and need more information, just click on it. A small window will open just below the title with all the information available regarding that magical place. Click the title again to hide the detailed information.

Searching

On the right side of most pages you will see the title "Search Magic-Info.Org" with a field and a "Search" button under it. Just type in the field what you are looking for and press the "Search" button. You can use a part of a word, the whole word or a phrase.

Filtering

You can filter magical places by country or state (only within the USA). The filter menu is located at the top of the list (above the category index).

When you click on a filter you will see an alphabetical list (for instance of countries). When you click on a list item (like United States in the country filter) you will only see magical places belonging to your selection (in our example all magical places in United States).

You can also filter by rating. Just click on one of the stars (1 to 5 - left to right) to see only those places that are rated with that number of stars. Click "unrated" to see all magical places yet to be rated (and feel free to rate them).

Rating - Voting for your favorite magical places

You can vote for those magical places you like more (or less). When you click on a magical place's title, you will not only see the details regarding it, but its rating. You can also vote by selecting a rating and clicking "Vote". You need to login to vote. If you are not registered yet, please do so (it takes less than a minute - promise).

Publish your own list

If you vote for places you can publish your list and any site you voted for will be included in your list. The list will be accessible by appending your Login ID to our web address (i.e. www.magic-info.org/yourlogin). Publishing is turned off by default. To enable publishing click here.

Inclusion guidelines

Our site is open to all, but please use the following guidelines (and your common sense):

1. Please do not add magical places exposing magic. This includes places that are discussing others' magic (even in a closed forum). Such places will be removed and repeating offenders may be banned.
2. You can add a place in multiple categories, but please do not add the same main web address (www.mysite.com) in more than one category. If you think that some part of the same place is relevant to another category, please add that specific web address (for example: www.mysite.com/myforum).
3. Please refrain from using all capital letters (in any of the fields)
4. All places added are made available immediately, but keep in mind that they are subject to review, and may be removed at our own discretion.
